What a special day it was in Enriched Childcare with Creation Station!
With a big batch of gluten free green play dough in hand, we were ready to do some new exploring!
"It's the Earth!" One exclaimed as I rolled a big chunk into a ball. "Yeah, it's the Earth when there was dinosaurs because there's lots of trees and no houses!" Says the oldest, trying to make sense of the earth being all one colour.
As we smashed and cut and stabbed and rolled, we practiced both our fine and gross motor skills alongside our never tiring imaginations.
"Look how many pieces of Earth there are now!" A positively giddy child exclaims as he continues practicing his knife skills, turning one ball into 2,4, then 8 pieces and more, just to smush it all back together and start again.
